Cipher is the suite's device manager for Android handhelds, tablets and printers. A device enrols by scanning a QR code and lands on the policy you chose for it: the apps it may run, the settings it may change, and kiosk mode if it should only ever do one job. From the console you can see what has checked in, push an app, lock a handset somebody left in a taxi, watch data usage and draw a geofence. It is built on Google's Android Management API, with an NBS agent app for the things Google's API does not report.

Enrolment, kiosk, geofencing and data usage are in the box. No per-feature licence tiers to climb.
Cipher runs on hardware NBS owns and supports, not a reseller seat on somebody else's platform.
Handhelds, tablets and Android printers sit in one list, grouped the way your branches are.
Where Android itself stops, Cipher says so up front instead of promising it and failing on the day.
Every NBS application signs in through Orbit: one account, hashed credentials, roles per person and per organisation, and a shared session across the suite. Data is hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centres over encrypted connections, backed up, and covered by the POPIA operator addendum in our subscription agreement. Specific to Cipher:
Cipher is hosted by NBS and delivered as a subscription. Updates, backups, monitoring and support are part of the service, and the console works from any modern browser.
Cipher is sold as a hosted subscription, priced per enrolled device per month, with the console included. Every plan includes hosting, backups, updates and support. Hardware is added on rental with replacement cover, and once-off items cover enrolment, policy design and training. We quote per client after a short scoping call, and adding another NBS application later only needs an updated schedule, not a new agreement.
One thing worth knowing before you plan a migration: Android only allows one management provider per device, so moving a fleet from another EMM means a factory reset on every handset. We schedule that with you branch by branch rather than all at once.
