Beacon is the suite's mailer and contact base. Contacts carry company, province, industry and labels; campaigns are assembled in a block editor and previewed exactly as they will send; sends are scheduled and tracked; replies come back to the contact record; and unsubscribes are handled automatically. Core sends its invitations through Beacon, and staff signatures with rotating banners are designed here too.
Industry and province on every contact turn a mailing list into a market picture.
A dedicated, reputable sending path with unsubscribe handling built in.
Event invitations and reminders use the same sender, tracking and reply handling.
Signatures and campaign templates enforce one look across the company.
Every NBS application signs in through Orbit: one account, hashed credentials, roles per person and per organisation, and a shared session across the suite. Data is hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centres over encrypted connections, backed up, and covered by the POPIA operator addendum in our subscription agreement. Specific to Beacon:
Beacon is hosted by NBS and delivered as a subscription. Updates, backups, monitoring and support are part of the service, and it works from any modern browser or the NBS app where one is provided.
Beacon is browser-only and needs no hardware. It pairs with Core at events where kiosks and scanners are used for check-in. See the NBS hardware range for the rest of the suite.
Beacon is sold as a hosted subscription, priced per month by contact volume and monthly send allowance. Every plan includes hosting, backups, updates and support. Hardware is added on rental with replacement cover, and once-off items cover setup and training. We quote per client after a short scoping call, and adding another NBS application later only needs an updated schedule, not a new agreement.
