Jeremy du Plessis - NBS CEO

The past year has marked a defining period for NBS. We have significantly expanded our footprint across South Africa and extended our reach beyond our borders to better support clients with their warehouse optimisation requirements.

From large distribution centres to regional logistics hubs, our solutions are now actively deployed across multiple provinces and neighbouring countries, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in operational technology.

At the core of this growth is our continued focus on intelligent, integrated systems—moving well beyond standalone hardware into fully connected ecosystems that improve visibility, accuracy, and control across the supply chain.

A major highlight has been the expansion of our Visual Solutions Division. This now includes dock management systems, vehicle and fleet counting within yard environments, parking management, entrance and exit control, and parcel tracking throughout the supply chain.

These solutions are rapidly evolving and, with continuous development, are poised to have a major impact on operational security, throughput visibility, and end-to-end traceability.

RackSense Solution

RackSense Solution

We are also preparing to launch our new prototype RackSense solution, designed specifically for modern warehouse environments.

Key features include rack availability tracking, dwell time monitoring, and full integration into enterprise platforms such as SAP.

This will allow organisations to connect physical movement with system intelligence in real time.

Commercial Antennas

We are also introducing advanced antenna solutions into our offering.

These high-performance external antenna systems are designed to extend and stabilise wireless communication in areas where the signal is weak, obstructed, or inconsistent.

Service And Maintenance Division

Our service division continues to be one of our most valued strengths. Whether dealing with unexpected equipment failures or scheduled maintenance, our clients rely on us for fast, professional on-site support.

  • 4-hour response time in major metro areas for critical call-outs

  • Nationwide coverage across South Africa

  • Cross-border support into Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, and beyond

  • Scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime before it occurs

Downtime impacts productivity, service delivery, and revenue—and our mission is to eliminate it wherever possible.

We have already established industry-specific subscription-based Hardware & Software models, purpose-built for warehouse operations, and business automation—reducing capital barriers while improving access to critical technologies. Now, we are taking this even further by introducing enhanced capabilities, greater flexibility, and a range of new value-added inclusions designed to deliver even greater operational impact to our clients.

Alongside this, our innovation pipeline remains strong, with multiple new solutions scheduled for release over the coming year.

The direction is clear: smarter infrastructure, deeper integration, and technology that delivers measurable operational impact.
