The MH261 Series is TSC’s mainstream industrial barcode label printer, built on the proven foundation of the MH240 Series. It is designed to support growing production demands and increasing operational complexity, making it suitable for modern, high-throughput industrial environments.

A key feature of the MH261 Series is TSC Sense Care, which provides intelligent printhead monitoring through advanced auto-detection. This allows real-time visibility into printhead health, helping prevent unexpected downtime and maintaining consistent print quality. The system also supports flexible media handling, including media with pre-printed black marks on either the top or bottom side, which can be selected directly via the control panel.

For remote operations, the MH261 Series integrates with SOTI Connect and TSC Console, enabling centralised printer fleet management. This allows businesses to monitor multiple devices, reduce maintenance effort, and minimise downtime across critical printing operations.

Connectivity options are designed for flexibility and integration into existing systems. The printer supports GPIO for common applicators and emulations, with an optional wireless module offering 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi combined with Bluetooth 4.2 for seamless network and device connectivity.

The MH261 Series is highly adaptable to different media requirements. The MH261T supports media widths up to 6.8 inches, while the MH261 supports up to 4.5 inches. It also includes fine adjustment mechanisms to reduce ribbon wrinkling and ensure consistent, high-quality label output across different media types.

User experience is prioritised through practical design improvements. The media near-end sensor can be easily adjusted to alert users when media is running low, with notifications displayed on a colour GUI screen. In addition, both the printhead and platen roller can be replaced without the need for specialised tools, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.
